All About Me

As we start another school year at Oakdale, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Mrs. Kylene, and I have been a teacher for 14 years, with this being my 3rd year here at Oakdale.

In 2021, my family and I moved to Oakdale. I live here with my husband Joe, our sons Clayton (22), Dominick (19), Cameron (10), and our beloved dog Kora. Outside of school, you can often find me enjoying fun outdoor activities with my family or cheering on my son in sports.

One of my favorite pastimes is sitting on a beach reading Nicholas Sparks' books. I also have a special place in my heart for the movie Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory, which is where my love for dark chocolate began.

I am excited to embark on this new school year with all of you and create memorable learning experiences together. Here's to a fantastic year ahead!
